We understand that some people are nervous about revealing their credit card details over the internet. At Radio Music Store, we employ a number of methods to minimise the risk to you.

If after reading about our security methods you are still not happy, then you can always bypass the internet sales page completely and place your order over the telephone. The price is exactly the same and you can deal direct with one of our sales representatives. All you need to do is note the make and model number of the product you wish to purchase and call 0845 125 9262.

All of our online transactions are handled by our payment partner, a company called Protx. When you are ready to pay for the goods in your online shopping cart, you'll be taken to Protx's secure website before being asked for any of your card details. All transactions are conducted using an "SSL", or "secure socket layer". This is a special piece of software that means your order is placed using 128 bit encryption. It means that if anybody did manage to intercept your order, they would not be able to understand it. Your order is encrypted nobody but Protx and Radio Music Store will be able to read it. You will know when a website is using SSL technology because a gold padlock symbol will appear toward the bottom right hand corner of the internet browser window and the web address will start https:// when you are asked to input any credit card details.

This ensures that nobody else using the internet can intercept your credit card details and use them fraudulently. However, our checks don't stop there: When we ask for your credit card details, we also ask for your "card security code" and the address to which the credit card statements are being sent. The card security code only appears on the back of a genuine card and neither this nor the address details can be acquired from till receipts or by counterfeiting.

We will always telephone you to arrange delivery of your goods, after checking that the telephone number given to us is your genuine home number (mobile numbers are not acceptable and work numbers will mean additional security checks).

Finally, we'll employ some good old fashioned common sense that we've learned from over seventy years of retailing experience and some extra security checks that we haven't listed here.

Remember, if you are still unhappy you can telephone our sales hotline on 0845 125 9262.
